UPDATE: The gallery presents Artist Talks by Master Printer James Reed on the topic of traditional methods employed in printing the 44 woodcuts, monotypes, lithographs and etchings by 37 artists on view in the current exhibition, “Milestone Graphics; 30 Year Retrospective” at the gallery through June 24. Mr. Reed will speak at 7 p.m. on two Wednesdays: May 30 and June 6 at the gallery. Free. 22 Haviland Street. (203) 852-6727 www.milestonegraphics.biz
The exhibition marks more than three decades of collaborative printmaking at the oldest professional printmaking workshop in Connecticut.
Over 35 established artists will be exhibited and represented by woodcuts, monotypes, lithographs and etchings. Ann Chernow, Maggie McKinnickinnick, Bud Riley, Lucy Sallick, Michael Torlen and Harvey Weiss are among them.
The South Norwalk gallery is at 22 Haviland Street, as you may have guessed. I don’t have a web link to share, but an old-fashioned phone call to 203-852-6727 may result in more details.
