A new “graffiti lifestyle” magazine, art directed by Shaun Baron, has won the acclaim of a major designer.
“It’s a brilliantly created and executed magazine, filled with vibrant graffiti examples,” says Robert Newman. “Baron has harnessed graffiti artists to create cover and feature illustrations and typography, but it’s all contained within a smart,… tightly formatted design.”
I haven’t gotten my hands on a copy. According to their website, the magazine’s only distribution point in Connecticut is News Haven in New Haven. Subscriptions are $30 for a one-year run of four issues. But from what I can see online, particularly in Newman’s Facebook album,The Infamous appears bold and artful, with surprises at the turn of a page.
