The Art Trail has returned and it has nearly double the participants as last year. How did that happen? Six of the 17 businesses and organizations involved didn’t even exist last year. How’s that for a sign of growth.
“Visit visual arts venues throughout the city, meet the artists, tour open studios, follow a historic walking tour of downtown art and architecture, dine in local restaurants” Nov. 10-14, the poster says.
Following the trail gets you introduced to some new things in town: the Center for Public Art and Design, 305 Knowlton, Space, Windows at the Arcade, and the Vault at the Bridgeport Arts and Cultural Council. If you click these links you’ll find mainly placeholders for now, but I include them for you to bookmark. These are all fledgling projects that will be in place in just a few weeks.
