“Local treasure” Enid Munroe and the “hard-edged impressonism” Rob Brooks are paired in a Southport Galleries show called “Places Seen and Imagined.” Sounds provocative. Reception is 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 4. Show closes June 30.
Brooks is more often shown on the Cape, and here is a retrospective of his work at one of the more prominent galleries there.
Munroe specializes in still-life paintings and mixed-media collages. She was recently interviewed in a massive documentary series about Westport and Weston artists.
