Mario Garcia’s upcoming online “master class” on tablet design is being promoted all over the Twittersphere, and it drew my attention to F+W’s whole lineup of what they call DesignCasts.
The topics are just the type that would be interesting to designers, whether in a newsroom or running their own shop, but I have to ask: $69? Really? Strangely, they also offer “free shipping” because it’s over $25. Not a big incentive for something that never ships.
And yet, I’m tempted.
Conferences aren’t cheap, either, and neither was school. I guess where I get hung up is when I try to compare the cost to that of a book. Of course, a designcast is none of these things.
Anyone out there ever watch a designcast? I’d love to hear what it was like.
