I only mention this because (1) a reader alerted me to all the lawsuits and then (2) another reader seemed to be, albeit jokingly, toying with the idea of going to the dark side and pursuing a franchise.
This toxic mixture is what comes of of phony piety, saccharine schlock and a class of people with money and a desperate need to cover the huge walls in their great room, but who apparently hate actual art.
All that said, his style is perfectly appropriate when aimed at small children (with rich parents).
