Wednesday’s Connecticut Post came out a little murky; its subtle qualities were a little too much for our presses and newsprint. So here it is in all its digital glory.
Is it time for the neighborhood of St. Mary’s to rally ’round the Fayerweather lighthouse again? Maybe, but it seems like this time around, the problems of the lighthouse are too big for one tiny group of neighbors to handle.
Incidentally, we were so proud of Brian Pounds’ photo, we had intended to use it as the centerpiece of our page 1 on the day we debuted our new redesign. Then the Times Square bombing story altered our plans. Suddenly we were learning all new formats while juggling a fast moving and dramatic event.
