Just stumbled upon the coolest new blog, and I can’t believe I never knew about it before. So actually, I guess I can’t call it a “new” blog when it’s really just new to me. It’s called Be Our Neighbor. I love it.
They interview local people, mostly creatives, and some of the answers are displayed in their own handwriting, which adds their personality in a way that could be missed in plain text. I’ve learned a lot about people, some of whom I already know, in just a few minutes on that site.
The latest interviewee is my friend Eileen Walsh from the Gallery at Black Rock, which of course, I’ve been involved with. It came up in a Google search when I was looking for Bridgeport Design Group. The blog was pretty informative about them, too.
When I was a reporter, I hated interviewing people. Pretty crippling if you’re going to be a reporter. This doesn’t seem to be a problem for the Be Our Neighbor blogger, whoever she is.
