The four Hearst newspapers in Connecticut have freshly redesigned Web sites. They’re look sharp and are much easier to use. Danbury’s News Times was the first to have its change unveiled, and its new nstein platform yielded increased page views almost immediately.
One decision made by the interactive team was to give the sites their own visual identity. Nothing about these sites reflects the look or design of their corresponding print properties.
The largest of the four sites, for the Connecticut Post, has also been renamed. What was connpost.com is now ctpost.com, so all those jokes about compost heaps can just stop now.
